A USB drive that is shared via a network share is not blocked by device control policy to block USB drives.

This is a known issue and happens due to current design.  Device control functions in user mode space.  When sharing the USB drive via a network share, the actions of reading and writing to the drive, happen in kernel mode space.  Due to current design limitation we are not able to block the actions.
