When using the update install command of the Symantec Messaging Gateway (SMG) Command Line Interface (CLI) , a prompt is displayed informing you that the appliance will be rebooted after the process completes. The prompt then asks if you want to proceed and answering no to the confirmation reboots the appliance anyway.

Symantec is investigating this issue. This document will be updated as more information is made available.

To work around this issue, you can press the key sequence CTRL-C (press the Control key and C key at the same time) instead of answering the prompt.

The CTRL-C key sequence interrupts the command and returns to the command line prompt without continuing the update script if pressed before the prompt is answered.
