Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange

An attachment has violated a Content Filtering rule and was quarantined. It is then needed to release the item by mail and deliver the mail in the original format including the original body, subject and attachment.

This is working as designed

If an email violates a policy and the Action to take is "Quarantine attachment/message body and replace with text", the body of the original email is forwarded directly to the intended recipient, but the attachment is replaced by a replacement text. The attachment is kept in quarantine. If the attachment is later released from quarantine, only the quarantined attachment is forwarded to the recipient. Hence, the product is working as designed. It is not possible to recompile the full email.
