Software product has 32-bit and 64-bit versions.  When trying to deliver both versions using one software management policy it fails.

In the Software Delivery tab of the Symantec Management Agent, it displays that the detection check and applicability checks, both run, but the Download Package task does not execute (Last Status typically will show Unknown or not started, for both the Download and Execute install command tasks).

By default, Results-based actions is set to Abort Upon failure.  The detection and applicability tasks execute, but because one of them failed, the policy aborts without downloading or installing either version of software.

For each software  package being delivered, perform the following task:

  1. Open the delivery policy by selecting Manage>Policies>Software>Managed Software Delivery and select the applicable policy.
  2. Select each software package and click the Advanced options button.
  3. Select the Results-based actions tab.
  4. In the field adjacent Upon failure: click on the down arrow and select Continue.
  5. Click on OK.
  6. Click on Save changes.
