Issue/Introduction

Customer has just installed a new valid license file for SSIM. However, when he tries to log into the SSIM client, a error message related to a non-valid license file is displayed .

"a valid license file has not been found on the server you are connecting to.Please install a valid license file and try again"

Cause

In the SSIM's host file, the entry for the SSIM server contained the shortname and the FQDN

Resolution

In the SSIM host file, the entry related to the SSIM server must contain only the hostname (shortname or FQDN) which was set during the installation process.

Removing the extra name will allow a correct connection to the LDAP and a successfull log in to the client with the new license.
