When you attempt to install a license for Symantec Brightmail Gateway, you encounter an error telling you it is an invalid license file.
Cannot register the specified license file.
"Unable to complete registration with Symantec. You may have specified an invalid license file. Please specify a valid license file. No more information ."
One possible cause can be if SMG is not able to connect to Symantec server to register.
Please ssh to the SMG,login as admin then did the following to check if SMG is able to connet to server to register.
telnet register.brightmail.com 443
