Issue/Introduction

Teefer driver not starting after a Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) client installation.

After using cleanwipe tool, the issue persists. Installation of SEP client completes but the Teefer driver is not starting.

The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load: Teefer3

Resolution

1) Uninstall the SEP Client.

2) Run the Cleanwipe Tool
Note: Cleanwipe requires Local Administrative rights/permissions to work effectively. 

3) Remove the registry branch HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\Teefer3

4) Install Symantec Endpoint Protection Client.
