Issue/Introduction

After changing motherboard due to hardware failure the SSIM Appliance is not starting anymore

Resolution

In SSIM the MAC address is hardcoded during the installation in the /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts folder

File is called /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 (or the X number depending on how many cards)

[[email protected] network-scripts]# cat ifcfg-eth0
DEVICE=eth0
IPADDR=10.12.255.100
NETMASK=255.255.248.0
GATEWAY=10.12.248.1
ONBOOT=yes
BOOTPROTO=static
HWADDR=00:1E:67:08:95:EC
TYPE=Ethernet
ETHTOOL_OPTS="autoneg on"

Change the value on the line HWADDR accordingly to the new MAC Address.
