Issue/Introduction

When enrolling the iOS Mobile Management Agent with an MMS server, an error is encountered.

"Safari could not install a profile due to an unknown error."

Cause

iOS 5 requires https to be used

Resolution

1: In the Symantec Management Console, go to Home > Mobile Management

2: Click on Mobile Management Server settings

3: Click on your site server in the bottom right pane and click the pencil to edit the settings

4: If your site server connection settings are overridden, select 'use https' and save the changes.  Then click the save changes button on the Mobile Management Server Settings page.
