Using a MS Exchange server and MS outlook 2010.

Ensure that the configured Outlook client that is used to run the schedule does not have the cached mode option set.
Revert to 2007 outlook client to resolve the issue.
Short version. 2008 R2, Running 10.5.1, 2011-3 and 2011-4, New Installation. Error during configuration of BVC.
Have you ever had MS Exchange configured before and working or is this a new install of MS Exchange for CCS?
Yes but not on this system. Former system was 8.6 that did work but that system is being retired because it doesn’t work with Exchange 2010 and isn’t supported.
What version of CCS are you running? 10.5.1?
Correct 10.5.1. Fresh Install.
What was the latest PCU that you have applied? 2011-4?
2011-3 and 2011-4

Are you logged onto the CCS data collections as the same user that has MS Exchange installed?
Negative. I installed using my ID and configuring using the ID that has AD Admin privileges.
Windows Server 2008 does not have the adminpak.msi built in to the RTM media. These are called the “Remote Server Administration Tools (RSAT)”
The configuration of BV-Control for MS Exchange failed, and the system displayed the following message on the page for the Default Exchange server and mailbox: GC server could not validate the name of 'Exchange server’. The error occurred when the Exchange server to be configured in RMS was installed in the CAS Array environment.
Apply Quick Fix 20202 to resolve the issue. The product now supports the configuration of BV-Control for MS Exchange with the CAS Array name for the CAS Array feature of Exchange 2010.
Before you apply Quick Fix 20202, ensure that you have installed Symantec Control Compliance Suite (Data Collection) 10.5.1 with 2011-4 Update.
