You have a Service Desk implementation that is supported by a SQL Server. You want to know what kind of maintenance is recommended.

SQL maintenance should be scheduled to run nightly on the Process Manager database.

A Maintenance plan should be created and scheduled for a time of minimal activity, usually overnight or in the early morning.

SQL Maintenance should include rebuilding the indexes and updating statistics.

If you shrink the database you must rebuild the indexes and update statistics again, we do not recommend that you run database shrink nightly.

This is provided as a recommendation only, your environment may vary.
