Issue/Introduction

Within SEPM console,  Clients => Details tab, it shows a different 'Time & Date' format.

Policy Serial Number: 1731-10/27/2011 18:52:20 382
Policy Date: October 28, 2011 12:22:20 AM IST

Cause

Policy Serial Number uses GMT time zone.
Policy Date uses Operating System (OS) configured time zone (local time).

Using the one set time zone (GMT) as standard, so that large organizations which have clients and SEPMs in many different time zones, will not get confused about whether or not the profile serial number of a policy that is offered, is newer than the one currently in use.

So it is to be expected that policies created at a certain time in a time zone using GMT+1, would “appear” to have a serial number that is off / out by one hour.   This change was introduced with SEP 12.1 RU1

Resolution

This is working by design.
