We currently have CA File Master Plus for MVS 9.1 installed and I will be working on upgrading to 11.0. Is a new license required for this upgrade?

Issue/Introduction

When a client is currently active on maintenance for CA File Master Plus MVS is a new license key required when upgrading from and older release of CA File Master Plus for MVS 9.1 to the latest release  r 11.0.?

Resolution

If you are currently paying maintenance when you upgrade from CA File Master plus MVS r 9.1 to R 11.0 a new license key is NOT required. Since the product release is not part of the license key a new key is not required.
