Historical data class fill up the database needlessly

Issue/Introduction

Historical data class data bloats the database. These data classes do not represent changes by a user, but are re-populated by a background process on each software license calculation which runs weekly by default. This causes the historical data class to bloat the database.

Environment

ITMS 8.x

Resolution

Disable the Data History for the Software License Evaluation Data Classes.  To disable the Data History, do the following:
1. In the Symantec Management Console, go to Settings > All Settings > Notification Server > Resource and Data Class Settings > Resource History.
2. Disable the Data History for the Software License Evaluation Data Classes.
