Resolution

Change the port that the Data Manager is listening on using the following procedure:

To configure the 8080 and 8081 ports

1. Run the axInstall.EXE file in the extracted DSSetup folder (root of C:) created on installation/upgrade. The Ghost Solution Suite Install Configuration wizard appears.
2. Select the Custom Install option and click Install.
3. The Software License Agreement dialog appears. Click Yes and the Ghost Solution Suite Share Information dialog appears.
4. Select the License file option and click Browse to enter the path of the License file. Click Next. The Ghost Solution Suite Server Information dialog appears.
5. Select the 'On this computer' option. Note: You can choose whether you want to install the GSS Server on a local computer or a remote computer.
6. By default, the Port is 8080. This port is used by the DataManager service.
7. Enter the Service password and click Next. The GSS Database dialog appears. The default SQL Port Number is 1433.
8. Continue with the remainder of the installation menu steps by selecting/confirming settings and complete the install/reinstall.

A reboot may be needed after installation.
