Support for an XCOMHIST file larger than 4GB with XCOM for z/OS 12.0

Issue/Introduction

Does XCOM™ Data Transport® for z/OS 12.0 support XCOMHIST larger than 4GB?  Is there support for Extended Format Datasets for the history file?

Cause

The XCOMHIST VSAM FILE could not be written when the size is larger than 4GB.

 

Resolution

This support was added as an enhancement for XCOM™ Data Transport® for z/OS 12.0.  Apply RO89449 VSAM EXTENDED FORMAT XCOMHIST FILE for this support.  See the text of the apar for instructions.
