Can I change the home directory of the OMVS security segment for Netmaster while the task is active?

Issue/Introduction

Would there be any problems changing the home directory in the OMVS segment of external security used by the NetMaster 12.1 address space while the started tasks are running? There aren't any files under the home directory for NetMaster or SOLVESSI.

Resolution

In 12.1 the SOLVESSI running with UNIX=YES does all the Unix commands. Many USS NETSTAT and other calls are made, depending on how the product is used.  Attempting to change the home directory may effect stack monitoring of IP, TCP and UDP. It may also cause other unexpected results that we cannot foresee.  

We recommend stopping both the SOLVESSI and the Netmaster region prior to changing the OMVS home directory.
