You try to upload a license file (.slf) file in Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager, and you cannot continue the license activation. No error message appears. Or you upload a license file and the license count is fewer than expected.
A license file typically contains more than one license name. In some cases, the file might contain license names for products other than Symantec Endpoint Protection (such as a license for Symantec Critical Systems Protection). Only licenses for Symantec Endpoint Protection are included in the license count.
If the license file contains only licenses for other products, the Next button in the License Activation panel is disabled. Contact Technical Support to obtain a new license file.
