Issue/Introduction

Running a CA Directory provided DXcertgen command line tool/utility to generate either the DSA certificates (.pem) files OR generating a CSR (Certificate Signing Request) results into failure on Linux systems reporting Segmentation Violation.

Environment

Release: ETRDIR99000-12.5-Directory
Component:

Resolution

It is possible that you have a file only with a number as a filename under $DXHOME/config/servers folder.

e.g. you may have (under $DXHOME/config/servers folder)

1

userstore.dxi

userstore_router.dxi

Here that '1' is causing this problem as DXcertgen tool is expecting a proper filename. Delete this misleading file from this location OR move it to another location to resolve this problem.
