Issue/Introduction

After installing PGP Desktop 9.12 on Windows 7 Home Premium, Microsoft Outlook stops functioning and you receive the error:

Resolution

This is a known issue which occurs on computers with Windows 7 Home Premium and PGP Desktop 9.12. This issue is due to an incompatibility in the method that PGP Desktop queries the proxy settings on Windows 7.

This issue is fixed in PGP Desktop 10.

To download the latest version of PGP Desktop, you must have a current software maintenance agreement. Maintenance means the right to receive Software Updates and Software Upgrades (if any) released during the period specified in your order.
