This article details the process to disable/unregister the PGP File Share driver (PGPfsshl.dll). Disabling the PGP NetShare driver may resolve any rare connectivity issues caused by the PGP File Share driver.
Please note that you cannot view nor use the PGP File Share Properties tab (available by right-clicking a File Share file or folder) for protected files/ folders after issuing the command to unregister PGPfsshl.dll.
Note: Unregistering the PGP File Share dll does not affect the functionality of PGP Desktop. The effect of disabling the PGP File Share dll is simply that the icon indicating that the file is encrypted is no longer displayed on PGP File Share files. |
