Issue/Introduction
When attempting to install PGP Desktop, you receive the following error message:
Error 1304. Error writing to file:
C:\windows\System32\PGPsdk.dll Verify that you have access to that directory.
Resolution
This error can occur on systems with McAfee installed. The McAfee logs may show an entry similar to "Blocked by Access Protection rule NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM C:\WINDOWS\system32\msiexec.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\PGPsdk.dll".
To resolve this issue, temporarily disable the McAfee software.
