Note: This article applies to PGP Desktop 9.9 running on Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5.

Resolution

To correct this issue:

  1. Browse to the Library/Frameworks/PGPwde.framework/Resources/stage1 directory.
  2. Locate the following file: Stage1.
  3. Rename the file to stage1.
  4. Restart PGP Whole Disk Encryption on the disk.
This issue is corrected in PGP Desktop 9.9.1 and above for Mac.
