Reading SMF data and archival processing within Sysview for Db2

Issue/Introduction

Applications received an SQLCODE -805 and attempted to obtain more information through Sysview Performance Management Option for
Db2 for z/OS (IDB2) Option 6 - Thread History, but the information from last week is no longer available. 

Is there a way to use IDB2 to read SMF dataset created during the time of the event?

Resolution

To unload historical data into Db2 tables and then execute SQL queries against these tables,
please reference the IDB2 Archiving DB2 Performance Data within the Sysview Performance
Management Option for Db2 for z/OS documentation section titled Archival Process.
