Storing SMF Data

One of my applications received an sqlcode -805. I've tried to get more information through option 6 - Thread History, but information from last week is no longer available. 

Is there a way that I can use CA Insight for DB2 to read SMF dataset created during the time of the event? If yes, how?

To answer your question re storing History Data. 

 

Yes you can unload history data into DB2 tables and then run SQL queries 

against these tables.
