Issue/Introduction

PGP Corporation announces an update of PGP Command Line 9.6.0 for the 32-bit Windows platform.

The update of PGP Commandline 9.6.0 addresses SDK Service issues when simultaneous invocations of PGP Command Line are running on the machine.

The updated version of PGP Command Line may be obtained from the download link included in your Order Confirmation Email. The download link will include the most recent version of PGP Command Line.

 

Resolution

 

To confirm that PGP Command Line 9.6.0 update has been installed, please run the following command:

pgp --version

If you are running PGP Command Line version 9.6.0 build 176 on 32-bit Windows, PGP Corporation recommends you install the update.
Please note that build 180 is only applicable for PGP Command Line on 32-bit Windows.  All other platforms remain at build 176, and do not require an update.

When the update is installed, the version of PGP Command Line will remain the same, but the output of the command should display the updated build number.
