Issue/Introduction

The Authenticated Bypass option was designed so that a user who is able to authenticate the passphrase for encrypted disk can boot the computer one time without entering a passphrase at PGP BootGuard.

Resolution

This feature can be useful for system maintenance (such as performing remote maintenance) when a reboot is necessary and bypassing the PGP BootGuard screen is desired so that the system automatically reboots without the need to enter the passphrase.
