Attempting to access Oracle Applications Java Applet using JInitiator causes Internet Explorer to crash when PGP Desktop is installed. The crash prevents access to any of the Oracle Applications.

The NetShare DLL (PGPfsshl.dll) is not fully compatible with the Oracle JInitiator 1.3.1.25 software.
Workaround
The workaround to solve the issue with the JInitiator is to unregister or disable the NetShare driver (PGPfsshl.dll).
Unregistering the NetShare dll does not affect the functionality of PGP Desktop. The effect of this is simply that the icon indicating that the file is encrypted is no longer displayed on PGP NetShare files. |
