Issue/Introduction

Are WebSockets supported by CA SiteMinder (Single Sign-On) CA Access Gateway (SPS)?

 

Environment

CA Access Gateway (SPS) 12.8 and 12.9 

 

Cause

WebSockets are currently not supported by SiteMinder CA Access Gateway (SPS) as of 12.9 Release.

WebSockets support is being considered for future releases, please consider subscribing to receive Updates about Siteminder product and release information by following the below KB

Resolution

Upgrade CA Access Gateway (SPS) to 12.9 when this version will be available to get the support of WebSockets.
