Issue/Introduction

Are WebSockets supported by CA SiteMinder (Single Sign-On) CA Access Gateway (SPS)?

 

Environment

CA Access Gateway (SPS) 12.8

 

Cause

WebSockets are currently not supported by SiteMinder CA Access Gateway (SPS) up to the version 12.8SP8CR01 included.

However, support of WebSockets is implemented in CA Access Gateway (SPS) 12.9.

 

Resolution

Upgrade CA Access Gateway (SPS) to 12.9 when this version will be available to get the support of WebSockets.
