how to make exception for some extension file

Resolution

add a matchlist as below:
1>open symantec mail security server(SMS)
2> click "policy"
3)click "content Enforcement
4)click "match lists"
5)below tasks, add a new match list
6)name a tile
7)on Match type ,choose "wild cards"
8)below filter, type the extension you want to exclude
 for example "*.vsd" .
9)choose okay

then you should add a content filter rules:

1>open symantec mail security server(SMS)
2> click "policy"
3)click "content Enforcement
4)click "content filtering rule
5) on "add match list" , add the above matchlist
