AeXPackageDelivery.dll Cannot create directory: 0x80070035[The network path ws not found]

Issue/Introduction

The agent logs of a Site / Package Server contain manhy of the following warnings and or errors from module AeXPackageDelivery.dll

 

Cannot create directory: 0x80070035[The network path ws not found]

Download Package failed: HTTP Request Failed: The network path was not found. (-2147024843)

Cause

The Package Server agent may have been recently installed or upgraded and did not completely register its self.

Resolution

- First try restarting the Symantec Management Agent service.

- If that does not work open a command prompt and run the following two commands:

  C:\Program Files\Altiris\Altiris Agent\regsvr32 -u AeXNSCPackageServer.dll
  C:\Program Files\Altiris\Altiris Agent\regsvr32 AeXNSCPackageServer.dll

Again restart the Symantec Management Agent service.
