SSH communication with an agentless target computer in Control Compliance Suite

Resolution

The agentless infrastructure uses SSH protocol to communicate with the Information Server. The agentless architecture supports two versions of SSH protocol, namely, SSHv1 and SSHv2. The infrastructure can use either of the protocols for communication. The SSH communication timeout period is configured through a config file setting.

The default timeout period is 180,000 milliseconds and it can be configured to any value by modifying the SSHConnectionTimeout value.

The default SSH port for establishing communication is 22, which can also be configured through the Asset Details "Asset-type Properties" page.
