Issue/Introduction

When you launch the Add or Edit Software Package window for the first time on a machine you will get a Dialog box to appear that states that there is an issue with the Java Certificate. The Java certificate used by Software Management has expired.

The application's digital signature has an error. Do you want to run the application?

This application will be run without the security restrictions normally provided by Java

The digital signature has expired.

The disgital signature was generated with a trusted certifcate.

Cause

It appears that the certificate used by this control has expired.

Resolution

This issue has been reported to Symantec Development.
 

You can avoid the prompt by checking the box "Always trust content from this publisher." and clicking "Run".
