Issue/Introduction
The ampersand character in a Display name is shown as &
The Policy settings for: "Display name" and "Display description", and also the Software publishing "Software Name" and "Description" fields all have this quirk.
Cause
It appears to be converting the ampersand in the field into code that is used to avoid invoking the reserved function of the ampersand.
Resolution
This does not appear to cause any issues. This has been logged with Symantec Development as a defect.
As a work around, use the word "and" in the place of the ampersand.
