Issue/Introduction

Modified date and time file attributes change after running a scan.

Modified date and time stamps for the file attributes change after running a scan.

Cause

The modified date and time stamps for the file attribute is updated when the registry hive file is loaded and unloaded. This is without making any changes to the actual files on the system. Both the modified and accessed attributes are updated when only the accessed attribute should be updated.

The issue is resolved by the following Microsoft hot fixes:
