LiveUpdate processing seems very slow after initial Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) installation

Issue/Introduction

Running LiveUpdate from the SEPM console after the initial install, takes a great deal of time.  Is there a way to speed up the process?

Cause

A contributing factor in this case may be the speed of their Internet connection – only has .2M download speed.

Resolution

There is nothing in SEP to improve that download time. 

Recommended applying the .jdb file, however, that only updates the AV/AS definitions. 

Best recommendation would be for customer to upgrade the speed of their internet connection.
