How can you find the IP address of the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM), a client is connecting to by looking in the registry of the client computer?

Resolution

The IP address of the SEPM that the client is communicating with is stored in the following Registry location:

Endpoint Protection 14.2 and later

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\CurrentVersion\Public-Opstate
• The key is a String Value. Its name is: LastServerIP

For Older versions

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\SMC\SYLINK\SyLink
• The key is a String Value. Its name is: LastServerIP
