Issue/Introduction

Unable to launch the Web Portal.

An unhandled exception of type 'Microsoft.Practices.CompositeWeb.Services.ModuleLoadException' occurred during the execution of the current web request.

Cause

32 bit applications are not enabled in IIS

Resolution

At a command line, run the following:

%windir%\system32\inetsrv\appcmd set config -section:applicationPools -applicationPoolDefaults.enable32BitAppOnWin64:true

Or enable 32 bit applications in IIS manager by right clicking the CCS_web app pool and edit the advanced settings. (Attached evidence shows a screenshot of the IIS settings to be edited)
