URL reviewing and checking options with the Symantec Web Gateway

Issue/Introduction
You wish to know what services are available to check URL's that are scanned by the Symantec Web Gateway and or request reviews of their status.
Resolution
The SWG uses 2 different databases to check URL’s: a Rulespace service for content filtering and the Norton Safe Web database for threat checking.
There is a link in the SWG interface for site checking in Policies > Blocking Feedback > “Request changes…”. This links to a site relating to the Rulespace database where you can enter a URL and request that it’s status be changed if it is not satisfactory:

Additionally, customers can use the Norton Safe Web facility to check and provide feedback on URL's with regard to identified threats. They will need to create an account on Safe Web, after which they can submit a review of a site.
