Cause

This issue is caused by some changes that were made in SQL Server 2008.  Starting in SQL Server 2008 the local administrator account is no longer given read/write rights to the SQL content.

Resolution

To resolve this issue please use the following steps:

1) Login to the SQL Administrator tool on the SQL 2008 back-end server.
2) Create a login for the SPSS service account.
3) Make the SPSS service account login a user for each content database.
4) Add the SPSS service account user to the db_reader and db_writer roles.
