Issue/Introduction

We are being asked about password encryption and it is believed that typical DES3 can be reversed.  Are you doing something special to make it one way?  

  

Environment

VM:Secure configured with DES3 password encryption.

Resolution

We do carry logic that decrypts (NUC based logic), we just don't offer that decryption for DES3 encrypted passwords.
