Issue/Introduction

ASP.NET v2.0.50727 is missing from Web Services Extensions in IIS Manager, how to restore it back?

Resolution

  • Open Command Prompt
  • Browse to "C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v2.0.50727>"
  • Type aspnet_regiis.exe –i

ASP.NET will register itself and show up in Web Service Extensions
