During an upgrade from 7.0x to 7.05, you receive the error "Error 27506. Error executing SQL Script UpgradeGEMSDb_940. Line 256".
Symptoms
The upgrade rolls back. Upgrading to 7.03 succeeds, but more recent updates cannot be applied.
This is due to a lack of sufficient account permissions assigned to the SQL account used by SEEMS to modify the database. In updating to 7.04 or 7.05, several schema changes are made that require full db access rights.
The following server roles are required in order to install or upgrade the SEEM database:
securityadmin
dbcreator
db_owner database role membership (for the SEEMSDB database)
This information is on page 8 of the SEE Installation guide.
