KNOWN ISSUE: DS 7.1 - Ghost Imaging failing with error "Invalid Switch: mp"

Issue/Introduction

When trying to deploy image to client machine using Ghost the error "- imaging is failing with error "Invalid switch: mp" is displayed

Cause

Possibly caused by incorrect Image Multicasting - Threshold value.

 

Resolution

Temporary workaround:

In tested scenario the error was appearing when imaging task was assigned to 2 or more computers, where Threshold was set to 2. When changing Threshold to 5 - it will allow to successfully image up to 4 computers.

Symantec is working on a resolution for this issue.
