PXE menu first option changed to other than Local Boot or Next Device can cause workstations into reboot loops

Issue/Introduction

Changing the first boot menu item from Local Boot or Next Device can cause workstations into reboot loop. The first menu item is the default action that will take place when there are no Deployment Solution jobs waiting to be run on that computer.

Environment

Deployment Solution 6.x, 7.x, 8.x

Cause

This is correct functionality. A warning window will be displayed indicating that this change can cause problems with workstations rebooting.

Resolution

Always make Local Boot or Next Device the first option in the PXE menu.
