403 Forbidden error in newly installed agent logs using SSL

Issue/Introduction

After pushing the agent to a machine through a script of some kind or the Altiris Agent push the following error may occur when the client is trying to communicate with the server.

Cause

When the installation runs, we use a command line for AexNSC.exe; if that command line does not include the nsweb= parameter set for https://servername:port/altiris, then the client will try to communicate to the server via HTTP and will fail.

Resolution

Make sure the command line being used includes the nsweb= parameter and has the correct information. If you are doing the push from the console, edit the Altiris Agent Installation Settings and put in the correct URL.
