Issue/Introduction

Error saving scheduled tasks - The data area passed to a system call is too small

Could not edit any tasks or policys that were controlled by scheduled tasks

Cause

This is a windows error.

Resolution

Stop the task scheduler service

Delete all scheduled tasks relating to altiris.

Start the task scheduler service and wait 10 minutes for the task scheduler scavenger tool to run and release memory that was held causing the issue.

Run http://localhost/Altiris/NS/install/nssetup.aspx  to allow the tasks to be recreated.
