Error: "PXE-E55 ProxyDHCP: No reply to request on port 4011"

Issue/Introduction

When trying to PXE boot client machines, the error "PXE-E55 ProxyDHCP: No reply to request on port 4011" is returned.

Environment

GSS 3.x

DS 8.x

Cause

This can be caused by Windows Firewall being enabled if the PXE server and TFTP server are located on the DHCP server.

Resolution

One solution that resolved this error was to disable the Windows Firewall. If the PXE/TFTP server are also on the DHCP server, "Option 60" must also be enabled, and the string set to 'PXEClient' in the DHCP server scope settings.
