Issue/Introduction

Can Symantec Ghost be used to image or clone Apple computers?
 

Resolution

Ghost was not designed for use with Macintosh computers. However, you may be able to take / restore an image by means of a sector copy. Use the command line switch -IR . Typically, if Ghost can see the hard disk, then it can image it. Before you can count an image as a success, make sure you can restore it successfully and boot to the OS.
