Issue/Introduction

Is Ghost designed to clone Domain Controllers?

Symptoms
Cannot log into cloned Domain Controllers.

 

Cause

Microsoft secures Domain Controllers by locking them to a disk signature. Since a cloned Domain Controllers would have new disk signatures, the clones would be not be able to be logged into and would not be of any practical use. 

Resolution

Ghost cannot clone Domain Controllers due to security built into Domain Controllers, by Microsoft.

Broadcom does not currently offer a way of cloning Domain Controllers.
