Technical Information
In the Installation process the wizard does not prompt or display any warning message if any of the above mentioned (not allowed) special characters are used in SEPM admin Password. It accepts the password but omits the characters that are not allowed. For Eg. Suppose the given is Password is @[email protected] - The wizard will accept the Password as v1l1nt.

Note for sql express embedded db :
SEPM installation uses same password for system admin account and DB account, hence use password characters which satisfies combination of section admin user account password and database password. e.g. As database password "\ == Back Slash" is not allowed to set as database password character  it should not be used for system admin account password during sepm installation."
